Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality that reduces stress and promotes relaxation, well-being and healing. The direct translation of Reiki is derived from two Japanese words; “rei” meaning universal and “ki” which translates to life force energy. Reiki practitioners use their hands to channel energy to your body, improving the overall flow of energy to achieve balance and promote healing. Using Reiki, meditation and personal guidance, we ignite the body's innate self healing abilities. Sessions are typically 45 minutes to an hour and involve lying in a relaxing environment while the Reiki practitioner offers an infusion of energy via light touch or hovering. Each Reiki session is customized for the individual client. Balancing the emotional and physical bodies is essential in achieving optimal health and wellness. Research has shown that Reiki can be a complementary treatment for pain, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, sleep disturbances and more.
