About

Courtney Bowles, LCSW

I believe in the inherent power each person possesses to make positive changes in his or her life. I utilize a strengths based, nonjudgmental approach with my clients. I believe in providing a safe, private and supportive space for my clients to freely explore experiences and themes in their life that may cause them pain or stress. I have experienced time and again the power of therapy to truly help people, and I am passionate about the work I do.

I have 20 years of experience in the field. I began my career as a perinatal social worker, but also have additional expertise working with individuals and families dealing with aging, illness,  life transitions, and loss. My areas of clinical interest include anxiety, pregnancy, childbirth and parenting, grief and loss, adjustment to illness, aging, and depression.

I have an ecclectic approach to therapy and use a variety of treatment modalities. If I am not the right fit, I will provide you resources to find the right fit. Therapy can be transformative and healing in so many ways, and I encouarge you to reach out for the support you deserve.
